The Society brings together expertise and activity across place development, landscape, nature, heritage, culture, health and local economy. It initiates projects, develops partnerships, produces public programmes and advances research, learning and stewardship.

Harrogate Cure is the Society’s principal public programme. It provides the platform through which residents and visitors can explore, experience and participate in the living spa.

The Society was founded by Harrogate-based designer and place-maker George Eglese.
